Based on a survey taken at the conclusion of the Lenten Bible Studies, we will offer the following three studies for you to choose from. The eight Wednesday evenings will begin with Supper Fellowship all together from 5:00-6:15 p.m. The group studies will conclude at 7:30 p.m.

Group #1 - How to Study the Bible - led by Jan Ocamb

Have you ever wondered whether a passage of scripture should be interpreted literally or figuratively? Did you ever wonder if there is proof outside of the Bible for the people and events that are described in it? Or did you ever wonder if science and the Bible are compatible? We’ll survey counter cultural evidence that supports the Bible being divinely inspired and explore archaeological discoveries that validate the Bible’s authenticity. We’ll consider testimonies from former non-believers as well as examine spiritual themes and learn about God’s Special and General revelation. Most importantly, we’ll investigate how the Old Testament works with the New Testament to reveal Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Come prepared to learn and be inspired as we survey the 1500 years of God’s revelation to us in the Old and New Testaments.

Group #2 - The Joys of Membership - taught by Pastor Arun Andrews

Interested in becoming a member of Trinity Church? Membership is a wonderful way to express your commitment to the Lord in our church family and to grow in your faith, fellowship and service. It also involves embracing and being embraced by a loving community of God’s people. We invite you to join Pastor Arun in a new members series based on Tom Rainer’s book, “I am a Church member” (books will be provided). Enjoy sweet fellowship, getting to know others who are interested in membership and learn more about Trinity’s heart and mission. It promises to be a time of renewing your faith and finding your spot in God’s family. To know more contact Pastor Arun or Bishop Pauline.

Group #3 - Experiencing Hope in the Midst of Life’s Challenges - led by Bishop Pauline Peifer

At every season of life, whether as a young adult, busy mom, career specialist, or retired grandpa, life has its challenges. Each session’s teaching will address a different challenge including study of a Bible character who experienced that challenge along with additional small group discussion and practical applications. Sessions include: Walking the Unknown Journey with Hope , Hope in the Midst of Stress and Discouragement , Finding Hope as you let go of Fear and Anger, Hope after Mistakes and Misunderstandings, Hope that Brings Contentment and Resilience, Hope that Blossoms in the Midst of Loss, Leaving a Legacy of Hope, The Hope of Heaven

We hope you will consider attending these Wednesday evening seminars in October and November. As a disciple of Jesus, give your spiritual life a boost.
